A tank top and shorts has been my staple summer uniform. Besides being easy to wear, some days it’s just too flippin hot to wear anything else. Now I’m all about versatility when it comes to clothing. Until I win lotto, I have to be wary of my wallet when shopping for clothes getting the most bang for my money. After doing a post on styling a maxi dress, I fell in love with the idea of showing you ladies how to make the most of your closet. All it takes is the right shoes and accessories to make something like a regular tank top and shorts look new from one day to the next.
For today’s post I chose what I personally own. Old Navy had a crazy online sale on tanks and I snatched up this multi-striped Perfect Tank Top. It’s a little more polished than the other solid tanks I own and the colors work both for the summer and the transition into Fall. The Jessica Simpson Forever Roll Up Shorts were also a steal I got at Burlington. The fit is amazing with super comfortable stretch material and the perfect length. It can be rolled up to mid thigh or rolled down if you like your shorts closer at the knee.
